Just wrapped up a 5 night stay here. I’m fairly happy with our stay. The view from room 103 is a quite good view of the forest grove. A couple of things they could improve on are the manners of the breakfast manager, he is very abrupt seems to have arbitrary rules about eating outside or not. Also some of the room fixtures need replacing due to being worn. The location is near Bologna Metro and I liked the quiet location. The night manager was very helpful with bus route suggestions.
Spent the last week here, front desk staff very pleasant and helpful, Room was good if not a little dated and tired. Good location if you are willing to travel to see the main sites and a good base to see sites others might not see. Good bus links and close to 2 metro stations. Only main issue was with the breakfast manager and his rudeness! (monday - friday)The other lady mainly kept out of the way! The Sunday Lady doing breakfast was very pleasant but we didn't see her through the week! as one of the main elements of a B&B I have never stayed anywhere that has made you feel so uncomfortable using a service you have paid for, which the 1star is for and not a reflection on any of the other staff. Overall an enjoyable stay in a good location
Great hotel for short visit! Rooms are small but very cozy and clean, quiet location and Bologna subway station is 5min walking distance, which is great if you are in Rome for tourist visit! Very nice and friendly staff. Just one small thing: the hotel doesn't have an iron, so if you are there on a business trip, make sure you get your wrinkle free clothing, other than this we had a great stay!
The hotel was reasonable for its experience. The location is slightly outside of the main city area of Rome. It’s walkable to nearby bud and metro stops so it’s not so bad.
Our room, however, was in the basement of the hotel. We had a small shaft window where we could hear some noise from outside as well. There are not only 5 hotel rooms in the basement but also some offices of the staff - which made it feel kind of uncomfortable. In the early morning, you can hear the employees outside the rooms.
The basement also has a strange smell and is moist and damp. The smell is not too strong in the rooms but definitely in the rest of the basement.
The breakfast included was nice - not too extensive but everything we’d need to be comfortable.
I would recommend as a budget option as all of the services were great - however, if possible, would recommend another.
We booked a higher category, so that we would not get a room in the basement or in -1. The room we’ve got was situated next to the door. The receptionist was smoking with a friend at the bar and they were really load, so that we couldn’t …
I have no idea how this hotel is a four-star hotel. It was absolutely the worst stay we had while in Italy. Our room was in the basement. When we got to the bottom floor, it smelled like a zoo. Once we got into our room, it smelled of …
Absolutely awful. We were allocated a room in the basement which smelled horrendously of damp and the general quality of the room was appalling. The bathroom wall was lined with mould and the only light was a tiny window littered with …
Very disappointing experience. I travelled with my daughter for a 3 night stay. We arrived at 12 via airport pick up which was a paid extra to be greeted by the most unfriendliest receptionist I’ve ever encountered. It was like we were …
